It takes real guts to show the real face, complete with freckles, lines, wrinkles, spots and what have you!My experience tells me that other than the commercial mainstream, make believe cinema; realistic cinema is quite open to actresses without make-up! Even, the perfect figure myth, ought to bust; Bollywood fancies it! 6-packs, 8-packs, 12-packs; come on, do you need an actor or a beef-cake. Contrary to European cinema where actors of all shapes and sizes and age too; play lead; risking body-shaming!
