Body shaming is a fad that affects even the top-most actors & stars. I have seen the biggest of names shudder at the thought of taking off clothes because they feel their body isn't in shape. The European and Latin-American cinema is of course different, with many actors that are too fat or too thin, not shying away from taking off clothes onscreen; guess they get deep into the skin of the character.I had put on weight for my last role and unfortunately, I didn't get enough time to knock it off, before I left for Maldives. The honest confession is, I was terrified to take my shirt off, but once on a sandbank, I said to hell with it, let the flab show; in the next chunk (to be shot in April) the fab will show and it will justify my act, that of a committed actor & filmmaker and yeah, I am all open to body-shaming!
