Creating content today is very easy; finding work is relatively easy; but getting your content out there and getting people to watch it, is what is tough, really tough!

I can tell from my personal experience, in 2010; when only 1% people were making digital in India, I got a million hits across platforms within a year of the release of "69 Opposites Attract", without any marketing!

Ever-since, the buzz around digital gathered momentum and webseries became a convenient way to express creativity, somewhere around 2015 in India; digital marketing experts appeared, if you want facebook followers, instagram followers, twitter followers; views on your video, all you need, is pay them and become a celebrity!

But more often than not, many new filmmakers haven't got the money and many experienced filmmakers that have been there and done that; know the amount being charged for the services, will just ensure fifteen-minutes-of-fame!

So how does one go full-throttle; guerrilla marketing is one way; you work your way up slowly and gradually and exponentially. Ask all your friends to share your posts; many time ego comes in the way, in asking friends to do it or the fact that friends might not share your work! Stats reveal, only .1% of all the links and posters shared with friends are ever shared by 'the friends' with their network; but again even 1-audience is good enough audience because that 1-audience is watching you and the famous saying in entertainment & media industry goes, love me or hate me; but definitely don't, ignore me!
