2016, September to be precise; I decided that I have to make the longest running webseries in the world, I had the idea and a broad framework but nothing concrete or on paper.On November 18, 2016, the webseries was announced by Hollywood star, Dominique Swain, and from the very next day, I started scripting the webseries.
There were many ups & downs through the journey, since it is India's first guerrilla webseries. The point is, the blog has crossed a whopping One Million + views yesterday and it is indeed a big achievement. Top it with the fact that a few producers and friends actually saw the first 10 webisodes with a possibility of investing in the webseries; and the reactions were much more positive than I had thought would be, since the style of filmmaking is guerrilla, so radically different from the conventional Bollywood or even, Hollywood filmmaking.
The degree of the success of '69 Opposites Attract' will be clear over a period of six years, but the fact is, this wouldn't have been possible without the solid support of regular readers and the new readers that are joining in. With less than two months for the 1st webisode to unveil and thereon, around 250 webisodes to release on a regular basis for the next six years; BIG THANKS to you all for being there!
