Acting or modeling is a very demanding job, because established actors, models are the most revered figures always up for public scrutiny, while morals & work are always a subject of heated debate for friends, foes, fans, public at large; one thing that every actor, model is conscious of, is their physical look, once out in public or captured by the media, they have to look all prim n propah and this belief is the root cause of anxiety & depression that 99% actors & models and 90% people in entertainment & media industry suffer from.
My questions are why do you need social acceptance? Society is anyways a domain of hypocritical fools, the haves will be after you, ONLY if you are successful and not even acknowledge you, if you aren't. The have nots will always be jealous of you, because they couldn't or didn't even do the work you've done; so why spoil your health for the acceptance of people; or in extreme cases, end your life!
On a personal / professional note; imperfection is my idea of 'perfect' beauty! I abhor actors, models that insist on makeup.. I don't shoot prim n propah dolls.. I capture the essence, the real essence of actors', models'
persona.. you have to be strong enough to show your flaws. Studies
reveal actresses & female models particularly, with an increasingly
short span of career, are the most gullible to suffer from anxiety bouts
or depression pangs. 90% of actress, model that insist to show their 'made up'
beauty, suffer depression starting from late 20's to mid 30's. This post is in fact a cause and currently one of the most neglected #socialissues
